Chanukah Party
Chanukah Party
Our Chanukah Party kicked off the festive winter season December 5. We had latkes and Jelly donuts, played a variety of games, and exchanged small gifts—One of our rare in-person get togethers aside from services!
Veterans Breakfast, November 14, 2021
Members of the CBI community gathered in honor of Veterans Day on Sunday, November 14.
Jay Kaplan and Sue Polansky provided live musical entertainment as we dined on a delectable pancake breakfast provided by our tireless shul volunteers.
Richard Fuchs, attorney, author and veteran was the main speaker of the day, joined by several others who took the podium to share remarks on the topic of service.
Thank you to all who made this meaningful event possible!

Thanksgiving Donations
As we have done for many years, CBI will once again be providing Thanksgiving fixings for families in need in the Danbury area. The program is sponsored by the Interfaith AIDS Ministry. We will be providing trimmings for six families. (NO TURKEYS. They receive turkeys from another source.)
Please choose one or as many items as you’d like from the list of items BELOW. All items must be at the synagogue no later than Monday November 15th by Noon.
You can start bringing items to the synagogue and leave them in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M., Fridays from 10:30 to Noon. (Please do not put these food items in the food donation box in the lobby.)
NOTE: If you cannot make these times/dates, please email or call the office and we will arrange a date/time for you to drop off items.
As always, your generosity is greatly appreciated!
